            The Alps cover three fifths of Switzerland making Switzerland a real paradise for those who like skiing and hiking. The many lakes, mountains and quaint towns make Switzerland a vacationer’s dream. A ride on one of the scenic trains is a must. It is a way to take in all that the countryside has to offer with spectacular views that will take your breath away.
            St. Moritz is an elegant town and one of the most prestigious ski resorts in Europe. Host to the 1928 and 1948 Olympic winter games, this town has a special atmosphere all its own.
            Lucerne has a charm the will quickly win you over. With it’s cobbled streets and it’s medieval architecture, the many houses and shops are a joy to see and visit. Many call Lucerne the true Switzerland. Don’t miss the famous Chapel Bridge.
            Geneva is called the peace capitol of the world and it is situated on the shores of Lake Geneva. Geneva is the headquarters for many world organizations. Don’t miss the many museums, libraries and The Suisse Romande.
            Zurich is the financial, industrial, commercial and intellectual center of Switzerland. Zurich is a treasure-trove of museums, libraries and parks and is home to 1030 fountains! The Opera House and Tonhalle concert hall are a must see if you are a fan of classical music and opera.
            Berne, Switzerland’s capitol, is a medieval city with many venues to choose from. The Toblerone chocolate factory, Emmantal cheese factory (the real Swiss cheese are just a couple of the places that you must visit. Once the home to Albert Einstein and a World Heritage Site, Berne is alive with cultural and intellectual pursuits.  Visit the house of Parliament and watch Parliament conduct business. See Munster Cathedral and the Clock Tower with its puppet show every hour.
            Wherever you might go in the Swiss Alps you are bound to have a great time, eat fantastic food and see scenery that is unparallel.
