Storm Chasing Tours

Has the weather always been fascinating for you? Maybe you are already a weather buff with your own weather station. Meteorology is fascinating to most of us and a strong part of this fascination is tornadoes. What causes them? How do they form? Why do they take the paths they do jumping over one house and destroying the next three? The beauty and grandeur of a tornado is matched only by its fierce ravenous appetite to destroy anything in its path.  These cyclones, big and small, are a fascination to all of us. Why not take a storm chasing tour and learn more about the science of Meteorology while getting an adrenalin rush?

Although tornadoes can, and do form any time, the peak storm season in Tornado Alley is from March into August. There is never a guarantee that you will see an actual tornado. This is nature and there are no guarantees in nature, but the expertise of your guides will help to see that you have the holiday of a lifetime.

* Note that you will be spending at lot of time driving so those who have a problem with car sickness need to inform the company before registration. Also, these storms are very violent and unpredictable. Safety should be the #1 priority when choosing a tour company.
