Volunteer Vacation Safari / Children of the Rising Sun Home –

            Your home will be a modest hotel in Watamu Village, Kenya, which is located on the Indian Ocean. Mornings will be spent working at the Children of the Rising Sun Home. Afternoons can be spent exploring the Watamu area of Kenya which has been named a United Nations Biosphere. Visit the wonders of the Watamu National Marine Park, the Mangrove Forests of Mida Creek Reserve, Arabuko-Sokoke Forest, or the Gede Ruins, an ancient Arab town and an archaeological wonder.             This is the opportunity to work in Game and Natural Reserves alongside Conservations, Zoologists and wildlife Veterinarians. There is no previous experience necessary. Ages 17 and up are accepted for these one to three month placements.
